Is aloe vera being an effective treatment for mouth ulcer?
My father is often suffering from mouth ulcer. He has taken a numerous drugs, cream or gel. They all are effective but not for a long time. I have heard little about aloe vera. Can aloe vera be an effective treatment for mouth ulcer?
Generally aloe vera is an effective treatment for skin conditions but now a day researchers say it could be used to treat mouth ulcer also. Mouth ulcer is an inflammatory and ulcerative condition of the mouth.
It is very common. Mouth ulcers are painful, annoying and sometimes embarrassing. They are red breaks in the lining of your mouth. The pain is caused by the nerves just below the surface of the lining of the mouth becoming exposed. Luckily most mouth ulcers are easy to treat.
Aloe vera is well known to have anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties and has been used to treat and cure skin disorder (cuts, eczema and burns) as well very effective in mouth ulcer.
People who suffer from mouth ulcer should take right cure as aloe vera. A study involving a few patients having mouth ulcer found that a gel having pure aloe vera alleviated a common inflammatory disorder of the mouth (mouth ulcer). Half of the patients used aloe vera and the rest half used placebo.
Around 82% of patients treated with aloe vera had a good response and feel better after the regular use of eight weeks of treatment while only 5% of placebo patients had a parallel response.
